Don’t worry if you are looking for something different from the images listed, we provide free design advice and tarmac quotations so we can help you achieve your desired look for your property. In addition to being a tarmac and asphalt contractor we supply and install all other types of paving, walling and fencing so you won’t need to hire any additional contractors for your driveway or patio makeover.

Tarmac borders and designs

We offer a huge range of borders, kerbing, walls, flower beds and brick and block paving designs such as circles and diamonds to add a unique element to your tarmac project. There is a misconception that tarmac can be dark and plain, but with a little thought during design, a tarmac driveway can stand out and add an element of class to your property.

Tarmac can quite easily be coupled with granite cobbles which have long been used and recognised at the entrances of prestigious homes. A border and apron with granite setts, with or without a granite centre piece can make your driveway really stand out. Our borders are available in a range of colours, such as charcoal, grey, natural, rustic, gold, yellow, and more so you are sure to find the right combination to enhance your propertys aesthetics.

The guys came early in the morning and in the evening all the work was completed. Especially nice that they cleaned up everything afterwards. They used only quality materials and trusted suppliers. Very happy with our new artificial lawn and porcelain patio. Highly recommend Tony and his team!👍🏻

It is with pleasure that I write a review for Tony and his team. They built a wall at the front of my house and also tiled some outside steps. They were professional and reliable at all times right from the first communication. They arrived at 8am and worked tirelessly through to 5pm. The wall and tiling was completed in one day.
Eli came back at a later date and tiled a porch for me. This work was also done professionally and efficiently. I am delighted with the standard of the work. Many neighbours, family and friends have remarked how well the wall and tiling looks. I feel very lucky to have found Tony and his team through doing a random internet search as it is not easy to find true professionals.
The excellent reviews on their website helped me to make my decision.
I am very grateful for the fantastic job that they have done, I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.
Thanks a million Tony, Eli and the team.

We used Tony and the lads to pave our garden in Kildare back in 2018. Fast forward to 2023, we've since moved back to Dublin and desperately needed the garden paved. I contacted Tony again, and within hours we had a quote. From the initial quote to the job being finished was 10 days!

Couldn't believe how fast they got it done.
We're delighted with how it looks, turned out better than I could have imagined!

Would recommend 100%

I've included a before and after... night and day!

FAQ

Q. Where to find tarmac contractors near me in Ireland?

You are at the right place! We can help with anything related to tarmac, asphalt or road paving as well as driveway construction from our sister company. If you have any questions about which type of project is best suited for your needs please don’t hesitate to contact us so one of our staff members could answer them ASAP.

Q. Can you replace existing asphalt?

If your driveway, parking lot, or road is in good condition and you only need a resurfacing or sealcoating treatment to improve the appearance and protect the surface, then an asphalt contractor like us can do this for you.d

Q. What is the difference between tarmac and asphalt driveways?

Tarmac mixes tar with aggregate; asphalt mixes bitumen (a petroleum product) with aggregate. Asphalt is laid hotter, cures to a smoother, slightly more flexible surface, and generally handles heavier traffic better, while tarmac has a rougher texture that provides excellent grip and is often more cost-effective for small residential driveways.

Q. How long does a tarmac driveway last?

With proper installation and routine upkeep (occasional sealing and patch repairs), a tarmac driveway usually lasts 15–20 years, and sometimes up to 25 years in a mild climate like Ireland’s.
